R.I.M. Presentations
Most declined work is not declined because the customer cannot afford it. It is declined because it arrived as an undifferentiated list of numbers read over the phone. R.I.M. turns technician findings into a prioritized, photo-backed estimate the customer approves line by line.
Included in Premier, $799 per store per month.
The Method
The name is the method. Every recommendation lands in one of three buckets, and the order is the argument.
R
Work tied to why the customer came in. It is the easiest yes, because they already believe they have the problem.
I
Safety and reliability items that should not wait. Photographed, so the customer is looking at their own vehicle rather than taking an advisor's word for it.
M
Scheduled service that is due or coming due. The bucket that gets declined first, which is exactly why it belongs last instead of buried in the middle of a list.
How It Works
Every line gets a condition of good, needs attention soon, or needs attention now, plus notes and a photo. Flat rate hours and the op code ride along, so the finding turns into a priced line without anybody retyping it.
Findings land in Related, Immediate and Maintenance with labor, parts, shop supplies and tax resolved per line. The customer sees a total investment and an order of importance instead of a list that all looks equally optional.
The estimate goes out as a private link. The customer approves and declines line by line, so a partial yes is a real outcome instead of an all-or-nothing conversation at the counter.
Approvals are captured with a signature and a timestamp against the repair order. What was presented, what was approved and what was declined is recorded, which matters the day somebody asks.
Why It Lives Here
What was presented and what was approved lands in the same system as the daily scoreboard, so close ratio and hours per repair order stop being a number somebody reports at the end of the month and start being a number an advisor sees the next morning.
Bring us an inspection and we will build the presentation your advisor would hand the customer.
